BARS AND CLUBS GIVEN GREENLIGHT TO REOPEN

Cabinet has given the greenlight for bars and clubs to reopen as of November 15 after months of being shuttered as part of COVID containment measures.
However, only fully-vaccinated patrons will be allowed in and there will be a limit on the numbers inside based on the size of the establishment.
All other safety protocols will also be in effect.

As a result of this, Minister Nicholas is expecting an uptick in the number of requests for vaccination ID cards and says his ministry’s production capacity is at the targeted level.

While bars and clubs get the greenlight to reopen next week, the government says fetes will not be allowed until herd immunity is achieved.
