As we told you last evening, Antigua and Barbuda is set to receive 24 thousand doses of Oxford AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines under the World Health Organization’s COVAX facility.

The batch to arrive on Thursday will be just about half the amount the country purchased from last year.

While it is welcome news for this country and several others in the region which are also on the verge of receiving vaccines under COVAX, other countries around the world are still awaiting their supplies.
