PFIZER VACCINES FROM SECOND TRANCHE ARRIVE IN ANTIGUA

More Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines have arrived in Antigua and Barbuda from the United States.

The 5,850 doses which arrived today are among 23,400 the country is receiving in the second tranche as a donation from Washington.

That’s our top story this evening as this is providing quite literally a shot in the arm for the national vaccination programme and the quest to achieve herd immunity.

Our reporter Cherilyn Beazer was at the VC Bird International Airport as the doses were handed over to officials.
