Published

The temporary removal of import duties on selected goods will continue across OECS countries as governments look for ways to reduce the cost of essential items and ease pressure on consumers.

The measure, known as the Common External Tariff suspension, was initially expected to last about one year after it took effect in October 2025.  However, officials now say it will remain in place until further notice.
