Health Minister Molwyn Joseph Questions The Contents Of An FAO Report On The Extent Of Undernourishment
Minister of Health Molwyn Joseph is frowning on a Food and Agriculture Organization report that among other things measures the prevalence of undernourishment in the hemisphere.
According to Minister Joseph, it ranks Antigua and Barbuda strangely close to Haiti as countries in the Caribbean where there is a high prevalence of undernourishment.
But he enlightened parliament yesterday as to how the scores are derived.
After presenting his research, the Minister further questioned how the report could determine that Antigua and Barbuda was facing this situation when its economic out-turns continue to improve.
