PRIME MINISTER BROWNE CALLS FOR DE-ESCALATION OF TAIWAN TENSIONS; CALLS OUT US FOR PROVOCATION

Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne has called out the United States for provocation regarding fresh tensions with China over Taiwan.
The head of government has emphasized the need for both the US and China to de-escalate tensions as Antigua and Barbuda and other regional states would be hard-hit from the fall-out in the event of another global conflict.
Prime Minister Browne was speaking recently during a signing for the Booby Alley Housing Project with China’s Ambassador to Antigua and Barbuda, Zhang Yanling.
