NEW FORT JAMES RO PLANT BEGINS PRODUCING 500,000 GALLONS OF WATER PER DAY

APUA has confirmed its customers have begun receiving water from the new Fort James reverse osmosis plant.
The plant is adding 500,000 gallons of water per day to the utility’s daily output and is taking it closer to meeting average demand.
Public Utilities Minister Hon. Sir Robin Yearwood took a drink of water from the plant in view of ABS’ cameras on Monday afternoon, as he basked in the milestone.
