TROPICAL STORM FIONA PACKS 60MPH WINDS AS IT CHURNS TOWARD THE LEEWARDS
The Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services says Tropical Storm Fiona continues to make a bee line toward the Leeward Islands and should begin to influence weather conditions Friday evening.
Meteorologist Letitia Humphreys says the storm has remained resilient with sustained winds of 60 miles per hour, despite unfavourable conditions including dry air. She provided an update on the ABS Evening News Thursday:
