ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA SUPPORTS UN SECRETARY GENERAL’S STANCE ON GAZA CONFLICT

Antigua and Barbuda’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Dr Aubrey Webson is standing with the official position of the United Nations on the war in the Gaza.

Hamas militants killed over 1400 Israelis during a surprise incursion on October 7.

This has triggered intense bombardment from the Israeli Defence Forces, who has also launched a ground offensive in Gaza to target militants.

However, thousands of Palestinian civilians are being killed in Gaza, fueling growing calls for a ceasefire.
