MEASURES BEING EXPLORED TO IMMEDIATELY SUSPEND LICENCES OF RECKLESS DRIVERS

Attorney General and Public Safety Minister Hon. Sir Steadroy Benjamin says he intends to implement additional legislative measures to curb reckless driving.

The Attorney General says under the measures being considered, the driver’s licence will be suspended immediately in instances where it is clear dangerous or reckless driving led to loss of life.

He was speaking in Parliament’s Lower House on Tuesday.
