Forbes Magazine Hails Antigua Carnival’s Local Identity

Antigua Carnival is receiving international attention following a feature in Forbes Magazine, which highlights the festival’s “strong local identity, homegrown soca, accessibility and community atmosphere.”

The feature praises Antigua Carnival for maintaining many of the traditions and characteristics that distinguish it from other regional festivals, while also embracing the growing appeal of modern fetes and entertainment.

The recognition comes as attention already turns to Carnival 2027, which will mark the festival’s historic 70th anniversary.
