GOVERNMENT PREDICTS 7.5% ECONOMIC GROWTH FOR 2020

Prime Minster the Hon. Gaston Browne is predicting 2020 will see the country’s highest economic growth in recent times.
The Prime Minister made the pronouncement in his 2020 New Year’s message to the nation.

If this materializes it will follow six per-cent growth in 2019 and 7.4 percent in 2018.

The government anticipates at least one billion dollars’ worth of private sector investments in 2020.
These include PLH Ocean Club on Barbuda, renovation and expansion of Rex Halcyon Hotel by Sun Wing and Beach Club at Fort James by Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.
