15 YEAR OLD KILLED IN HORRIFIC CRASH IN LIBERTA

A 15 year old male is the country’s second road fatality since the start of the year. He was reportedly hit and run over by a pick-up in Liberta Wednesday evening while riding his bicycle. The Emergency Medical Services received the call at 6:48pm and reportedly arrived on the scene 9 minutes later.

The teenager reportedly sustained severe injuries and was pronounced dead at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre. His death comes a week after a 29 year old woman died from injuries sustained when she was hit by a car on Friars Hill Road.
