Relaxation of Strict Dress Codes For Government Buildings
Cabinet is reaffirming its policy on appropriate attire to enter government buildings and offices. It says the policy supports maintaining dignity in public spaces, while ensuring that no citizen is unfairly prevented from accessing government services.
In re-examining the issue, however, Cabinet says there should be some relaxation of strict prohibitions (e.g., overly detailed clothing restrictions), shifting toward common sense guidelines rather than rigid enforcement, while ensuring access to services as the main priority.
