President Donald Trump Fires Attorney General Pam Bondi

Pam Bondi has been ousted as United States Attorney General in the Trump administration.

President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social that Bondi “will be transitioning to a much needed and important new job in the private sector.”

Trump also confirmed that Todd Blanche, who had served as Bondi’s Deputy, will be acting in the role of attorney general.

BBC News says Bondi and the Justice Department have faced criticism over their handling of the Epstein files, including failing to redact the names of victims.
