All three accused men in the Nigel Christian murder trial have denied any role in his killing, delivering unsworn statements from the dock before Justice Rajiv Persad on Tuesday.

Saliem Harrigan claimed key evidence was planted, while Wayne Thomas insisted he is innocent and stood by his account to police.

Lasean Bully told the court he knows nothing about the murder and had no contact with the prosecution’s key witness.

Director of Public Prosecutions Clement Joseph is set to begin closing arguments tomorrow, followed by defence attorneys Wendel Alexander, Sherfield Bowen, and Michael Archibald.
