The Government Introduces Residency To Improve The Attractiveness Of Its CIP Programme

The government of Antigua and Barbuda is seeking to enhance its Citizenship by investment programme with the addition of residency.

That’s according to Chief of Staff in the Office of the Prime Minister, Lionel “Max” Hurst, who explains the reason for the move.

Hurst explains how the residency will make it easier for investors.

This move, he says, is expected to improve the ease of doing business.

Last month Prime Minister the Hon. Gaston Browne revealed that a total of 510 passports had been issued under the country’s Citizenship by Investment programme.
