President Of The Disabilities Association Readies Himself For A Meeting With The Police Commissioner
The Disability Association President Bernard Warner is calling for the intervention of Health Minister Molwyn Joseph in the Malcolm Cephas Jr. matter.
Cephas Jr., a blind man, was allegedly beaten by police officers, in Barbuda on June 13.
The Disabilities Association is also due to meet with the Police Commissioner. Speaking to ABS News he explains some of the issues he intends to raise.
The disability community led a demonstration on Thursday outside of the Police Headquarters on American Road calling for justice and seeking to make sure such an incident is not repeated.
