An Account Has Been Opened At Scotia Bank To Accept Funds To Go Towards The Disaster Relief Efforts In Dominica

Members of the Dominica Antigua Relief Fund continue to rally the local community in support of the relief efforts in Dominica.

Member of the Executive Committee Darwin Telemaque says that the organization has received significant support from volunteers who have stepped in to assist the homeland.

According to Telemaque, the organization has shipped off one container so far and another 40-foot container was on its way. He says some critical areas have been restored on Dominica but the work has just begun.

Another member of the Executive Committee Gordon Julien speaks about the efforts in establishing the non-profit organization and the account that has been established at Scotia Bank.

The Dominica Antigua Relief Fund will continue its relief assistance with a Telethon on Thursday on ABS Television beginning at 8pm.
