It’s virtually a slap in the face to black owned businesses how our own local people express their betrayal openly! Imagine people lining up at 6am awaiting the opening of XPZ today. Drama galore! They came out in numbers and supported this Chinese owned business, and not afraid to validate their obnoxious behaviour and support for the oriental dynasty! Wow! The Antiguan black diaspora never ceases to amaze. How can the afro community be so brazen and contemptuous in spending their money with the people who don’t give a heck about them? If they could have shown half of this enthusiasm and support to the community of black owned and locally owned businesses, it would have been delightful.
But you know what? Sone of us rejoice in selling out our birthright. We do not sit down and think of the wealth chain. For a few dollars less, we forget all about loyalty.
Keep enriching the Chinese expats and forget about our own local businesses. We are carving out our ultimate and eventual doom of irreversible poverty and oppression!
Some of you brazenly express your disdain and scorn when a local person opens a business. You give them all the trouble and and distasteful remarks when you go into their business to buy something. But when you go into the Chinese owned enterprises , you are so super excited, boastful and ‘showoffish’ packing your carts and carting off all the inappropriate, inferior and bootleg shit thinking you got a deal! Shame on you!!!
