NEW PHARMACY BILL TO TIGHTEN ACCESS TO SKIN-BLEACHING PRODUCTS

The way individuals access skin-lightening products will change when new pharmacy legislation is enacted.

That’s because some of these items contain certain prescription steroids and other products, for which the dosage must be closely regulated.

Public consultations on the draft 2026 Pharmacy Bill are slated for Monday, January 5 and Tuesday, January 6 at the Parliament Building.
