Jamaicans May Resume Working From Home

Jamaicans could see a resumption of work from home arrangements amidst rising fuel prices due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

It’s one of the conservation methods being considered by Energy Minister Daryl Vaz as the impact of the crisis begins to be felt.  In 2014, Jamaica introduced the Employment Flexible Work Arrangements Miscellaneous Provisions Act, which established a legal framework for flexible work arrangements.
