Government is budgeting to spend just over one billion dollars for the 2015 financial year…a first for Antigua and Barbuda…

That was the figure quoted by the country’s Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Corporate Governance, the Hon. Gaston Browne in the 2015 Budget Speech, which is the Appropriation Act, 2015.

Under the theme “Rebuilding our Nation: A call for Action, Performance and Excellence”, the nation’s leader delivered a three hour presentation to a packed gallery.
