H.E. Lady Williams Named Member of the International Confucian Association

H.E. Lady Williams has been inducted as a member of the International Confucian Association (ICA) following a formal nomination by the Director of the Confucius Association of Antigua and Barbuda (CIAB) at the University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus (CIAB), Mr . Han Wen . This milestone highlights Caribbean engagement with Confucian scholarship and global dialogue on governance, culture, and peace.

Mr. Han  added , “ Her Excellency is a serious scholar of modern Chinese language and ancient Chinese culture . Members who are accepted into the ICA must demonstrate this type of commitment in public life and community leadership, and a proven record of peace-building and public service. As the President of the Antigua and Barbuda China Friendship Association , Lady Williams has demonstrated what it takes:   a global outlook, cultural respect, and endorsement from a recognized relevant cultural organization, along  with transparent credentials and references.”

Mr. Han added that “ H.E. Lady Williams acts as an Ambassador of Confucian scholarship and practical ethics, participating in outreach, cultural exchange, and policy discussions that promote welfare and peaceful coexistence. “. 

H.E. Lady Williams responded: “ I am honored to be accepted as a member of the International Confucian Association . This affiliation provides a platform to advance ethical leadership, educational excellence, and peaceful international cooperation for the betterment of our communities.
